8:00-8:30 am Smart Start (journals, skill sheets, morning work, etc.) 
8:05-8:20 am Rally M-W-F

8:30-8:45 am Good News/Show-and-Tell
8:45-9:00 am Recess
9:00-9:15 am Math Meeting/Calendar
9:15-10:30 am Reading/Phonics (2 rotations- objectives w/teacher, 2 rotations- center activities)
• 9:15-9:20 am Mini-Lesson
• 9:20-9:35 am Rotation 1
• 9:37-9:52 am Rotation 2
• 9:54-10:09 am Rotation 3
• 10:11-10:26 am Rotation 4
• 10:26-10:30 am Clean Up

10:30-11:00 am Science/Social Studies (library one day a week- Tuesday)
11:00-11:13 am Social Skills (moral focus/movement & song/story time)
• Parapro pullout (small group/individual)

11:13-11:39 am Specials #1- Teachers drop off, aides pick up (deNiece sets up for lunch)
11:39 am -12:14 pm Lunch- Aides monitor lunch in the classroom
12:15-12:41 pm Specials #2- Aides drop off, teachers pick up (aides’ lunch 12:15-12:41)
12:41-1:00 pm Quiet Time/Teacher Read-a-Loud
• Work away from this after Christmas, then handwriting/writing workshop

1:00-2:15 pm Math (2 rotations objectives w/teacher, 2 rotations- center activities)
• 1:00-1:05 pm Mini-Lesson
• 1:05-1:20 pm Rotation 1

We reserve the right to change things as needed to best fit our students. We will teach science and social studies in units and switch back and forth every 3-4 weeks. We will begin with social studies and then move to science, and so on.
