Strong academics as well as a strong sense of civic duty are taught at Springfield's Endeavor Charter Academy. For that reason, our elementary and middle school students are constantly involved in community projects such as:
- Salvation Army Food Drive
- Letters to Vets
- National Junior Honor Society students help at the Food Bank
- Heritage Quiz Bowl
- Cereal Festival parade
- Christmas parade
- Band Christmas concert at Lakeview Square Mall
At Endeavor Charter Academy, we have a great sense of community and everyone who is part of the school becomes part of the family. In 2009 there was a house fire in Hastings, where 3 children of the family were seriously burned. They lost everything.
The victims of the house fire were cousins of our lead janitor, Mr. Mike, who solicited help by posting a note in the teachers lounge. Endeavor's students and teachers did not waste time and got to work. With the help of Kiwanis Builders Club and Mr. Kimble, they organized a clothing drive to help the family. The response was HUGE!
